Objectives of the Course
The main objective of this course is to examine the human behavior and development within social systems through the major social science theories. As a continuation of Human Behavior and Social Environment I, the life cycle starting from the young adulthood to the old age and to the death is addressed in the above theoretical basis. By examining the relationship of some problems with human behaviors, it is tried to develop critical thinking capacity in terms of social work discipline.

5Provide a theoretical basis for social work intervention

Course Contents
Biological, psychological and social development of infancy, childhood, adolescence and young adulthood; the effects of social systems such as family, group, organization, community and society on the development of each other, the institutional, developmental, relational and functional dimensions of this effect, and its relationship with behavior dynamics, interpersonal differences and the effects of these differences on growth and development are discussed.
